
Poetry performance JUST CHECKING
During November 2023, within the framework of the ARSFID project, a poetry performance and a poetry evening entitled JUST CHECKING, dedicated to promoting the poetry of contemporary Serbian female poets, was realized. The poetry of Serbian female poets was presented to the public on November, 9 in the Matica Srpska Gallery.
At the poetry evening, the poems of Radmila Petrović, Maja Solar, Ognjenka Lakićević, Danica Vukićević, Maše Seničić, Milena Marković, Marija Knežević, Nina Živančević, Nataša Žižović, Ivana Maksić and Radmila Lazić were interpreted.
Students of the third year of acting at the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad, class of Prof. Boris Liješević – Adriana Salahović, Saša Sinđelić, Božidar Tomović, Jana Nenadović, Dušan Tomić, Kristina Birčanin, Magdalina Obradović, Ivan Petrušinski and Jana Srećković participated in the performance.

The poetry evening and performance is realized within the project “History and identity of the female artist in Serbian modern art – creating a soruce for scientific and artistic transposition – ARSFID”. The project was financed by the Science Fund of the Republic of Serbia within the Identities program, No. project 1010. The project holder is the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad, and the partners are the Faculty of Music in Belgrade and the Institute for Literature and Art in Belgrade.
