Nataša Crnjanski, PhD, is an Associate Professor at the Department of Composition and Theoretical Subjects, Department of Music of the Academy of Arts, University of Novi Sad. Her main fields of research are musical semiotics, cognitive music theory and analysis. Her scientific work is focused on questions of musical sign and meaning, as well as research on the connection between music, language and the physical domain.
Dijana Metlić, PhD, is a Full Professor of art history at the Department of Fine Arts, Academy of Arts, University of Novi Sad. Her main fields of research are modern art and historical avant-gardes. She explores the interrelations between painting, photography and film in both European and American art.
Marina Milivojević Mađarev, PhD, is an Associate Professor of the history of world drama and theatre at the Department of Theory and History of Dramatic Arts and Analysis of theatre and drama at the Department of Dramaturgy of the Academy of Arts, University of Novi Sad. She explores is in the field of the contemporary drama and theatre.
Ivana Miladinović Prica, PhD, is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Musicology of the Faculty of Music, University of Arts in Belgrade. In her scholarly work, she deals with American experimental music, oeuvre of John Cage, as well as neo-avant-garde and the recent music production in Serbia.
Marija M. Karan, PhD, is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Complementary Scientific and Professional Disciplines at the Faculty of Music in Belgrade, and an Associate Lecturer at the interdisciplinary master studies in Theory of Arts and Media at the University of Arts in Belgrade. Her scientific work is focused on culture and media studies. Through decades of work in the mass media, she gained experience in the fields of management, editing, journalism, organization, marketing, public relations.
Aleksandra Vrebalov, D.A., is a Full Professor of Composition at the Academy of Arts, University of Novi Sad. She has written more than 90 works commissioned by Carnegie Hall, Harvard/Fromm Foundation, Cleveland Museum of Arts, Serbian National Theatre, and The Forbidden City Orchestra in Beijing and described as “refreshingly unneurotic” (NY Times), “ a strange and sober beauty” (The Times, UK), “chilling and beautifully structured” (The Guardian). In 2018 Vrebalov joined festival Muzikhane in towns on Turkish/Syrian border making music with young refugees from Syria and Iraq. Vrebalov holds a MM from the San Francisco Conservatory and a DMA from the University of Michigan.
Goran Despotovski, D.A. is a Full Professor at the Department of Fine Arts of the Academy of Arts, University of Novi Sad. In his work, he deals with the contemporary artistic concept of existence and loss of identity through exploring in several fields of fine art media, predominantly installation as well as painting, photography, video, interactive works.
Marijana Prpa Fink, PhD, is a Full Professor at the Department of Acting, Department of Dramatic Arts, University of Novi Sad. Her main fields of research are nonverbal stage expression and interpretation of movement in performing arts. Her scientific work is focused on issues of stage language expressed through movement and on theater of 20th century as well.
Ivan Pravdić, D.A. is a Full Professor at the Departament of Dramaturgy and Dramatic Arts of the Academy of Arts, University of Novi Sad. With performances, drama, poetry, audience participation, workshops, and videos he has participated in festivals and symposiums in Germany, Canada, the UK, Spain, Italy, Netherlands, Russia, Portugal, Austria, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, Albania, Turkey, Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro and Serbia. Creates and develops Time Design.
Jelena Milinković, PhD, Senior Research Associate at the Institute for Literature and Arts, Belgrade (Department of Periodicals in the History of Serbian Literature and Culture, Chief Coordinator). Her scientific work is focused on periodical studies, women’s literature, history and theory of feminism, gender studies, digital humanities
Julijana Baštić is a Teaching Assistant at the Department of Musicology and Ethnomusicology of the Music Department of the Academy of Arts, University of Novi Sad. She is a doctoral student at the Department of Ethnomusicology, Faculty of Music in Belgrade. Her research is primarily focused on tambura practice in Serbia, with an emphasis on aspects of performance in different socio-ideological frameworks.
Ivana Damjanov Ilić, MA, is in her final year of doctoral studies and is employed as a Teaching Assistant at the Piano Department at the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad. Ivana is a concert pianist and the winner of over 80 first prizes at International competitions and the winner of the important awards in the field of Arts. She performed in the most important concert halls as a soloist and with orchestras in Serbia and abroad.
Anastasija Milićević is a master’s student at the Department of Musicology and Ethnomusicology of the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad.. Anastasija is musicolog student and winner of prize Competition for the preparation of scientific and professional papers in 2021/2022. She participated and organized numerous music and interactive festivals in Zrenjanin and Novi Sad, but also abroad.
