
Marina Milivojević Mađarev
Marina Milivojević Mađarev, PhD, is an Associate Professor of the history of world drama and theatre at the Department of Theory and History of Dramatic Arts and Analysis of theatre and drama at the Department of Dramaturgy of the Academy of Arts, University of Novi Sad. She explores is in the field of the contemporary drama and theatre. She writes radio dramas, TV scripts, plays, theatre reviews and articles in the field of drama and theatre studies.
Marina’s articles have been published in national and international journals. She published three books in the field of drama and theatre studies: Being in the Theatre (Directing Styles at the Yugoslav Drama Theatre Dejan Mijač, Slobodan Unkovski, and Dušan Jovanović), Fantasy in the Dramas of Vladimir Velmar-Janković (attached to the published plays “Slaves”, “Happiness AD” and State Enemy No. 3”) and Applied Theatre in Vojvodina from 2000 until today (together with Milan Mađarev and Ivan Pravdić). She was the selector of the 60th and 61st Sterijino Pozorje festivals. Marina is a member of the editorial board of the theatre magazine Scene, and the president of the Serbian Association of Theatre Critics and Theorists. She writes theatre reviews for the weekly Vreme.
